All3Media - Cashcab: Internet game, In-show and mobile game






Cash Cab is a TV game show that originated in the United Kingdom and has been licensed to television networks in numerous other countries. Passengers in a specially outfitted taxi are surprised and offered the chance to win money by correctly answering a series of general knowledge or trivia questions on the way to their destination.


IRM was commissioned by the Discovery channel in the US to deliver a Cash cab internet quiz game to engage visitors on their website. In the first week alone the game we delivered was played millions of times.


We also devised a premium telephone game based on the Cash Cab TV quiz show format in Russia, where callers could win cash prizes dependent on their skill. The game was promoted during the daily quiz show on-air and was a huge success with over 2 million premium minutes generated in under 2 years.


All3Media also commissioned IRM to source a games developer and executively produce a mobile game based on the cash cab TV format.
